1. Information We Collect

Heart Beat collects workplace activity data from authorized third-party integrations. This includes your name, email address, department, role, and work activity metrics. We do not collect personal data outside of your professional capacity. Authentication is handled via Google OAuth, and we store only the minimum profile information needed to identify your account.

2. How We Use Information

Data is used to generate organizational dashboards, performance analytics, and operational insights for management. Individual-level data is used to calculate engagement scores, identify workload patterns, and support team health monitoring. We do not sell or share your data with external parties. Aggregated, anonymized data may be used for internal trend analysis.

3. Data Sources

Heart Beat integrates with the following workplace tools:

• ActivTrak — Productivity metrics and engagement scoring
• Lattice — Performance reviews, check-ins, and goals
• Slack — Communication activity and channel participation
• GitHub — Code contributions and development activity
• Atlassian (Jira/Confluence) — Task completion and documentation activity

All integrations are authorized by your organization's administrators and operate within the scope of permissions granted by each platform.

4. Data Retention

Workspace activity data is retained for the duration of your employment and for up to 90 days following account deactivation. Historical aggregate data may be retained indefinitely for trend analysis. You may request deletion of your individual data by contacting your organization's Heart Beat administrator.

5. Your Rights

You have the right to request access to your personal data held by Heart Beat, to request correction of inaccurate data, and to understand how your data is being used. For data access requests, contact your organization's administrator. We will respond to all legitimate requests within 30 days.
